INDIAN VISA FOR CRUISE

An India cruise is a great way to see as much of the country as possible in one trip. Cruises in India call at many major cities, seaside resorts and tourist attractions: popular destinations such as Goa and Mumbai are included on many routes. Travelers are often unsure whether they need a visa for an India cruise and if so, which one. The vast majority of foreigners require a visa to enter India, whether arriving by air, land or sea. Families planning a cruise vacation should note that children also require an e-Visa for India. The most convenient way to get visa for India is online. The India e-Visa is fully electronic and can be applied for 24/7 from the comfort of your own home. The India Tourist eVisa is multiple-entry and valid for up to 90 days, more than enough time for most cruises. The electronic visa saves time as there is no need to present documents in person at a consulate or embassy.

Which e-Visa should I apply for when applying for India Visa for Cruise Passengers?

If the cruise you are traveling on has only one or two stops in India, you must apply for the 30-day Tourist e-Visa, which allows the visitor to stay in the country for 30 days from the date of entry the country and it is a double entry visa, which means you can enter the country twice within the validity period of the visa.

INDIAN VISA FOR DENMARK CITIZENS

All foreigners traveling to India are required to apply for an Indian Visa unless they have a diplomatic passport or other travel documents which may exempt them from applying for an Indian e-Visa to visit the country. The Indian government introduced the electronic travel authorization system in 2014, which is now available to citizens from 166 countries worldwide. Danish travelers are eligible to apply for one of several types of Indian e-Visas, each designed to meet certain specific traveler needs. The eTourist visa is valid for a maximum of 90 days stay in the country. This new system allows citizens of these countries to obtain an Indian e-Visa online without having to visit a local Indian Embassy or Consulate. The process is quite simple, and the traveler can receive their e-Visa via email in a relatively short time.

WHEN DOES 30 DAYS INDIAN EVISA EXPIRE

The 1 Month India Tourist Visa allows 2 entries to the country in the course of a month with a maximum stay of 30 days. This means you can enter India within 30 days of your application being approved. The holder of this type of visa must enter India between the date of issue and the date of expiry of the visa. However, the visa holder’s last day depends on the entry date. Suppose the expiry date shown on your Indian e-Visa is January 8, 2021. This means you must enter India before 8 January 2021. This does not mean you have to leave India before or on January 8th. For example, if you enter India on March 1, 2021, you can stay until March 30, 2021. So, when you enter the country, you have 30 days to stay in India and you must leave the country at that time. The period of validity is also stated on the visa.
