A new Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer has dropped! It features footage of street racing, boating, flying planes and helicopters exploring the Grand Theft Auto world. The new trailer concept showcases Grand Theft Auto gameplay footage along with the new GTA 6 themed song “I Can’t Wait.”

“I Can’t Wait” is a concept soundtrack for Grand Theft Auto 6. The song is a futuristic, upbeat synthwave track with 80’s drum beats. The soundtrack was produced by electronic artist and superhero, FIREMAN. FIREMAN is known for producing energetic electronic music with epic, cinematic themes.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected be set in Vice City, which is based on the city of Miami. The Rockstar development team will likely reinforce the game’s setting by curating a variety 1980s soundtracks for GTA 6 radio stations. It’s safe to assume they will also curate a variety of new music for the in-game radio, including lots of retro synthwave titles.

“I Can’t Wait” captures the buzz and anticipation for Grand Theft Auto 6 in a way that will get you in the mood for some exciting new action. The synthwave track starts with a rolling synth and a flowing white noise that sounds of blowing wind. The wind lifts you into the air with anticipation before dropping a layered melody full of energy. The male vocals come in with a rhythmic “I Can’t Wait” surrounded by lush reverb movement. The 80’s drum beats evolve around the dancing synth to make for a catchy retro vibe that could fit the setting of GTA 6.

Information about GTA 6 has been limited. However, leaks in September 2022 showed off various gameplay videos of Grand Theft Auto 6 in development, including parts of the map, gunplay, and characters. Many of the leaks on multiple platforms were removed by takedown requests and the leaks were later confirmed by Rockstar.

However, the leaked gameplay footage seems to have confirmed rumors about Grand Theft Auto 6, like the possibility of male and female protagonists. (We now know that the female protagonist’s name will likely be Lucia and the male protagonist’s name will likely be Jason.) GTA 6 is also rumored to have a much more expansive map than all previous installments of Grand Theft Auto.

The release date for Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected to be in 2024 or 2025. If this expected release date is accurate, then fans can look forward to an official trailer being released at some point in 2023 or 2024 at the latest.

Fans are on edge and can’t wait to hear more news about the upcoming game. Grand Theft Auto 6 may be the most anticipated game to release in our lifetime and will almost certainly be worth the wait.
